I want to take a minute to recognize my nurse ENS Berg. This man is one of the most caring men I have ever been blessed to encounter. During my stay, I felt extremely discouraged when I was pumping and attempting to breastfeed due to my body just not producing enough milk to provide for my newborn baby.
As a first-time mom, I didn't know what to do or how to deal with this kind of pain. I felt like I was already failing as a mom so the only thing I could do was cry uncontrollably. ENS Berg came in and instead of telling me everything would be okay, he sat beside and listened to how I was feeling and provided me with a sense of comfort that no one else has ever done before. He has a heart of gold and is like no other. The way he comforted me is incomparable to any previous care I have been under. It is especially more difficult for a male to provide this sense of nurture and know exactly the right things and never truly know the feeling of what that person just experienced.
Ethan is such a great nurse. I personally want to be there for the delivery of the award so that I may thank him once again for his act of kindness that I wish I could see more of in the world.
