My intent was to spend two weeks relaxing in Dallas with my sister before returning to Jamaica but unfortunately, it did not quite happen as planned. My mom, a cancer patient, accompanied me on this trip and experienced terrible pain while in flight. Upon disembarkment, she was taken to Parkland Hospital.
On arrival on Sunday night, the team was extremely cordial and worked with alacrity to ensure her safety, within minutes she was admitted, and professional care commenced. I must admit that I am extremely impressed with the level of coordination, knowledge, and professionalism extended by staff at Parkland. The services rendered have thus far resulted in the improvement of my mother's health and contributing to her wellbeing and my families' as well while here in the United States.
The support of the primary care group led by Ethan Gloger, RN has been exceptionally fantastic! Ethan has been clear with his communication and making sure all communication is clear and understood. Without a doubt, Ethan's knowledgeable and superior nursing skills made this experience less stressful for our family and mother.
Additionally, the nurses have demonstrated high levels of patient care and I commend the services given to our family by Ethan Gloger and his team. Ethan has left an indelible impression on me and my mom. He extended himself to provide support throughout the entire day and he also did everything possible to make things better for my mom the following day. He ordered a different meal and ensured it was delivered on time as my mom doesn't eat chicken. He even took the time to give her a warm bath before bed. Ethan's presence was so visible through all of our experience here at Parkland. Such levels of efficiency are rarely displayed and it showed he is well trained and people-oriented regardless of socialization and ethnicity!
Overall we are very pleased with the CARE, LOVE and SUPPORT received at Parkland Hospital by Ethan Gloger, RN.
