November 2022 Honoree
Ethan Sperry, RN
My sister, brother-in-law, and I brought our sister, C, to the ED for what turned out to be a UTI, a very serious one. She has dementia and was very uncomfortable and upset at being there. Ethan was very respectful of her and very patient even when she pulled out her IV. She was not the easiest patient to handle, but Ethan was very patient and empathetic even when she fought physically and verbally when he was trying to handle her procedures. He was able to remain cool throughout everything. We appreciate the care that he provided in what was not an easy situation.
Thank you, Ethan, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
