My daughter was seen twice in three months. As a parent with a special needs child, it is extremely difficult to find a care team that truly understands my child's situation. During both of these visits, we were lucky to have Eva Marie Romero as our daughter's ER nurse. She went above and beyond to make sure she understood what was being done. She made my daughter feel so comfortable. My daughter had a plush doll she always carried around for comfort. Eva Marie used that item to show and describe to my daughter what was going to be done. We always struggled with medical procedures, appointments, etc. Since our encounter with Eva Marie, my daughter has no anxiety with medical professionals and has made our medical journey with her health a whole lot easier for our family. We had forgotten her name until we saw her on a recent trip to the ER. We couldn't forget her face and thanked her. Finding a nurse who really cares, is efficient, and is good at what she does is hard.
