I was there for a heart cath procedure and my daughter and I were obviously apprehensive, not having been through this before. Eva-Marie was clear and efficient in explaining the situation and what the possible outcomes could be and at the same time having an extremely calming demeanor. My daughter and I were extremely appreciative of her proficiency and her attitude.

No matter what the procedure or surgery is, the minutes and hours proceeding the event are nervous for the patient and family and full of questions.
Your entire staff was wonderful helping us through that period, but my family's "Star" was Eva. She spent much time with us and answered many of our questions, all the while making us comfortable and confident in what was ahead.
When I think of the care provided through the process, it was Eva's face and name that defines my (and our) day with UNC Rex.
