Evan didn't miss any part of my needs. He knew what needed to happen, explained it when necessary, and delivered whatever it was with remarkable bedside manner.
I am a relapse leukemia patient heading to transplant and have spent 118 days at Swedish First Hill on 12E. There have been twelve hospital stays. I have gotten to know many of the nurses. Evan ranks in the 'elite class' of nurses who have served me. There are only three others in that group. Evan didn't miss any part of my needs. He knew what needed to happen, explained it when necessary, and delivered whatever it was with remarkable bedside manner. He is a remarkable listener. When I had questions about treatments or procedures, he would always get back to me with personalized answers. I have the sense that he would treat any patient with the same care, attentiveness, and thoroughness that I was given. I always felt important in dealing with Evan. He made me feel unique and left no stone unturned. Evan is trustworthy. I knew when I was under his care he would perform all parts of his care faithfully. After so much time in the hospital, I know what steps need to be taken to be safe: chemo, flushing, monitoring, etc. Evan never missed a beat.
