Vangie demonstrated professionalism during the entire shift.
My husband had a mild heart attack. It was a very scary time, but our nurse, Vangie, was wonderful. She's very efficient and knowledgeable. We were here for 3 days. Luckily, my husband made a quick recovery and was aware of everything. To understand why Vangie is an extraordinary nurse, I must introduce my husband. C is very independent. He has never been sick so he was restless and very impatient. He wanted to do everything by himself and Vangie was so patient with him. She soothed and double-explained to him. She was caring and talked to him. She was so efficient with his stats. She was always available and her sense of humor really helped C recover. She's always smiling and quick with a joke. Vangie made C's stay in the hospital so much easier. She eased his fears with her explanation and humor. I will forever be thankful to Vangie for what she did for C. From the bottom of my heart, I thank her and hope she's always blessed. Thank you so much Ms. Vangie.

My husband, G, is a patient in CCU. All of the staff that have been providing care for him have been super. Vangie has gone the extra mile providing excellent care. I just want to take a moment to express my appreciation for the outstanding care Vangie provided to my husband. Vangie demonstrated professionalism during the entire shift. My husband is very sick and required lots of care but Vangie behavior's never changed. Vangie introduced herself on day one, explained every task she was providing, i.e., hanging IV's turning every 2 hours, checking blood sugars every 4-6 hours. Lunch breaks, covering for her, she ensured he was comfortable.

Vangie, you are amazing. Thank you. I felt so comfortable knowing that my husband was surrounded with the CCU staff.

We would like to extend our gratitude to Vangie for the loving care provided to C. She needed special care due to open heart surgery and Vangie was there to attend to her needs. We also thank all personnel of the CCU. Great unit.
