I was admitted to the 7W from ER. When I arrived on the floor, Ms. Ewa was in charge and unfortunately, the room I was assigned to was not ready. She greeted me and jumped into action. Right away she derived an alternative plan. There was another room that was clean and available and she called admitting to reassign the rooms so I wouldn't be waiting in the hallway. She explained every single step to me and made me feel comfortable especially since this was the first time I was in the Brooklyn Hospital as a patient. She then brought everything I needed and while doing all that, the smile and warmth never left her face.
