My sister was brought in early Tuesday, and by Wednesday night she was in respiratory distress, leading to hospice care by Thursday morning. Ewelina worked 7 pm-7 am, two of the most stressful nights. She consistently provided calm, efficient care. She explained all the medications, dosage, and side effects in a manner that made our whole family's experience easier. And even though my sister was seemingly non-responsive, Ewelina talked to her in a kind and loving way and treated her with respect and dignity. I was truly impressed with her during our 24 hours of interaction.
