Fabiola is a truly exceptional nurse. She has been a wonderful addition to the Pediatric Unit and we are truly blessed to have her as a member of our unit family. She always starts the day with a smile and a greeting to her co-workers. Her positive attitude carries throughout the day even during difficult and stressful situations. Fabiola's calm demeanor radiates and soothes those around her including co-workers, patients, physicians, and families alike. She always goes above and beyond for her patients and takes the extra time to ensure that they are fully aware of and understand their plan of care. I have frequently commented to her how she would make an excellent nursing instructor as her explanations and demonstrations of policy and procedure are consistently clear, concise, and skillfully proficient. Her caring heart and healing touch are something very special. It is evident that she truly loves nursing and helping those who are in their most vulnerable state to feel comfortable, cared for, and protected. A day working with Fabiola is always a great day. It is my honor to recognize her for the exceptional and amazing nurse that she is.
