Faith meets you as her new patient, and the room is immediately lit up with her warmth and energy! I have had the privilege of being in the care of this lovely young woman for a week and experienced all the skill and love she brings to her profession as a very skilled, dedicated RN at USC Arcadia Hospital. “Faith” is well named as she inspires all who cross her path to believe in their goals for healing and believe in themselves to reach them. You cannot know how wonderful it means to be part of her team! She will motivate you to “go the extra mile,” take medicine, follow the procedure, and constantly applaud your progress. How do we reward someone like Faith who does not see who she is and what she does as totally extraordinary? For her, it's just another day to do the work she loves and give generously to the patient/nurse bond that is like the “Super Highway” to healing. As a former social worker/teacher/therapist, I know the power a team can have to effect change and create an upward spiral for dazzling success.
