"I was in a lot of pain when I first arrived in the ED. My nurse, Faith, was very nice and calming. My pain and anxiety eased while she talked to me. She was very attentive to my comfort. She also paid attention to details when caring for me. While preparing to put an IV in me, she explained that since I had to have an IV and she was going to put a larger one in just in case I would have to go to surgery later. She is an extraordinary nurse who used intuition, communication and skills to make me feel safe while at the same time providing excellent nursing care."
