I want to thank Faith for loving what she does because that truly makes a difference.
First I would like to thank each nurse that cared for me. They were compassionate about how they took care of me. They have a heart for what they do, and they do it professionally. But there is one that stands out and her name is Faith. Her demeanor is pleasant, caring, and professional. She is detailed about what she does: very observant and operates in a systematic and disciplined order. She took the time to explain some things that I didn't understand (ex: the importance of not making a move without assistance). She inserted my NG tube with a professional flair and helped to put the anxiety at bay for me. She also made me aware that a family member could visit. I want to thank her for loving what she does because that truly makes a difference.
Memorial Hermann sets a standard and these nurses reflect that standard. Faith rises above because she, I believe, rises above and beyond to make sure the patient, me, was taken care of physically and mentally. She is soothing, caring, professional, and compassionate. Also, Thank you to the PCA's for their excellent quality of work received from all.
