Faith is a lovely nurse who has the ability to connect with patients on a personal level. She treats all her patients and has always been a strong advocate for them. Faith is consistent with every patient she meets, treating them with respect and humility. Each patient gets a dose of Faith and I can tell you confidently that every patient will remember who she is.

Faith once had a patient who was really stressed and scared to get a procedure that she emergently needed. Faith held her hands and explained the procedure to the patient, reassuring her and educating her so she could better understand what was going to happen. Faith took the time to stay with the patient and reassure her, which was a very much-needed act of kindness. Some people could argue that she was just doing her job, but the way she interacts with people is above and beyond what is expected of nurses. It makes me strive to be more compassionate and work on my communication skills. I know her patients appreciate her, and I know that she does make a difference in people's lives.
