Took my 5-month pregnant daughter to the ER because she was experiencing upper abdominal pain. She was greeted by Faith a nurse that was working the graveyard shift. Faith was very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. My daughter was very worried and concerned since she is pregnant, but Faith made her feel at ease. Your hospital is very fortunate to have an employee like Faith, she really went above and beyond.
I came to the ER extremely unwell in pain and scared. Faith was extremely kind, caring, comforting, and went out of her way to advocate for me and my pain. She told me she believed me and was going to make sure I was heard and cared for. I'm an extremely hard stick, but she did amazing getting it on the second try and was so caring throughout by checking in and understanding. I have a lot of hospital trauma and have been through a lot. She brough heat packs and tissues without event being asked and helped distract me through excruciated pain by asking me about my life what I do with my volunteer work, etc. telling me kind encouraging words like I was a blessing. She carefully changed my heat packs out, went out of her way to be diligent with my central line care and diligent in informing other nursed of my allergies especially common things like chlorahexadine. I had a series abscess in my kidney and urostomy that ended up requiring being transferred to another hospital but never wavered in her care for me the entire time. She also went out of her way to find a recliner for my mom so she could be a little more comfortable understanding my mom has spent a lot of my life next to my hospital bed. She had such a sweet calming disposition and was so empathetic. She came up with as many ways as she could to give me even a little relief. She helped me change my urostomy and never made me feel embarrassed of it or any of my medical devices. She was just such a sweet, amazing nurse during a very difficult time.
