The FCC nursing team is phenomenal. Everyone consistently rendered compassionate, professional, and courteous care. During my entire stay, I felt safe and well cared for. I really can't say enough about the nursing team, the charge nurses, break nurses, nurse assistants, and my assigned nurses were all amazing. I consistently observed proper hand hygiene, AIDET, explanation of meds, side effects, discussion and my involvement of the plan of care, frequent rounding, pain management intervention and reassessment in a timely manner, frequent safely rounding, early encouragement of mobility, proper NKE at change of shift and during break times, ID band verification, and nurse leader and patient rounding by the charge nurse every shift.
I would like to thank the entire nursing team. These individuals are amazing. Please recognize them for going above and beyond for their compassionate and professional care, and for all the patient education and support they gave me during my 5 day/4-night stay.
If ever I need OB/GYN care, I'm definitely coming to KP Downey FCC if all possible. I will recommend it to anyone I know. Thank you again.
