We have had the privilege of having Fancy as my Father's nurse for 2 days. She has been so kind to him and takes time to talk with him and get to know him as a person and not just a patient. She makes him smile and even one day (actually 2 days) inspired him to sing! As his family, we are obviously concerned for him and want him to feel as comfortable as possible. We try not to worry or get too upset when it seems he is in pain, but it isn't always easy. Just when we think he is suffering horribly, Fancy walks in and he says something like "Hello Beautiful" and we all feel better. It's beyond comforting to know he is in loving/caring hands.
