February 2024 Honoree
Farah Gargotta, RN
My 74-year-old grandma had a heart attack and had to have surgery, after which she was admitted. My family was struggling. There was so much that was unknown, and what was known was confusing. Not only did Farah do her best, but she went above and beyond to make sure that both my grandmother and my family were comfortable. She constantly checked on us. What really stuck out to me is that not only did she always ask if my grandmother needed anything, but she then also asked if our family needed anything before she left. Farah is so sweet and outgoing. She has been a constant force of positivity for my grandmother and my family. So efficient, kind, and knowledgeable, Farah easily became our favorite. My grandmother even said she would come back just to visit her! This hospital is lucky to have Farah on staff, and we were lucky to meet her.
Thank you, Farah, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
