It was the first time I went to Marin General for my dad's chemo infusion, and I wanted to be there with him. Fran was his nurse, and I remember her kind attitude and her encouragement made me interested in becoming a nurse. She is the reason I know about the volunteer program. But of course, she was also great with my dad. S

She was very skillful and efficient, but also kind. It's been hard on my family with my dad, but I make me want to be someone who can help people like my dad, like her.
