Farhia went out of her way to be attentive in ensuring my husband received timely and efficient care. She did so while being not only kind and patient but also expressing understanding for our concerns and my husband's needs and condition. My husband is 77 & had a severe fall, requiring staples in the back of his head. He had a couple of days of intense pain, as well as confusion. She took the time to reassure him (and us), made sure meds and routine care followed schedules, and most importantly took the initiative in making him more comfortable, contacting respiratory therapists when needed and requesting a nutritionist, etc.

Farhia is a new colleague to the 5 North team and displays her dedication to patient safety and dignity in everything she does. She comforts and advocates for her patients and her peers. Farhia speaks up to voice her concerns and suggestions to improve care each shift in a kind and positive manner. She views her patients holistically and is thoughtful about her interventions.
