In one instance, a premature baby's parents were consumed with worry over their child's breathing.
Ms. Fatima calmly explained the monitoring equipment and held their hands to reassure them. She stayed late to meticulously adjust the ventilator settings and spoke to the baby in a soft voice, which seemed to calm the infant.
She even taught the parents how to safely touch and comfort their baby through the incubator, giving them a sense of control and hope during a challenging time.
