From the second we arrived, Fatima greeted us. She explained everything she was doing to my dad even though he was on a vent and still knocked out. As we asked questions, she answered. I've never seen anyone be so kind or gentle as Fatima. When my dad was waking-up he became agitated. Fatima was right there calming him down. Treating him like he was her own father. As his pressures rose or dropped, she was on the phone with the docs, making sure orders were adjusted. Fatima truly has a heart of gold and loves her job. Huge shout out to Fatima for keeping nursing what it is meant to be... All about the patient!
