Fawn Hamling, LPN

Fawn Hamling is a nurse at Nebraska Medicine Heartland Hematology and Oncology in Kearney. She always looks for ways to go above and beyond to improve patient's lives. Recently we had a patient with a current tough social situation that included no AC. The temperatures were in the 100s.The patient had a window unit but could not get installed on their own. Fawn took time after work to drive to this patient's house in a distant town to install this AC unit for him to help make him more comfortable. Fawn is always looking for areas to improve patient's lives outside of their healthcare needs. She's willing to extend a helping hand beyond the line of her expected job requirements.
