I was in the hospital for an emergency surgery over the Christmas holidays. I was very despondent and sad. It was clear that kindness and compassion flowed through Faye's very veins. She saw my sadness and sat down and talked to me about herself, her dog, her thoughts on life and gave me the care that helped me turn the corner. I am going home today after seven days! I will be home to watch all the kids open presents, see Santa deliver them, and say a prayer for Faye. She is a living angel.
