Federico goes above and beyond every day. He comes to work early to ensure all OR rooms are prepared for the day. He rounds with the night shift upon arrival. This in itself is an immense benefit to those arriving for the day shift.
His staff has confidence that he will start the day off right. He comes in on the weekends when called by staff who need extra support and often fills in for shifts when we are short-staffed. He is under a great deal of pressure to run an efficient OR. He troubleshoots issues often and thinks about his feelings. He can make any negative situation seamlessly positive.

I had a great day at Norwalk Hospital today. All your staff were prepared and hardworking and focused. You have done a great job managing that facility with divided resources. Thank you for everything that you do to make my practice and my patient's operative experience better!

Fed shared this with the staff at huddle to assure they know they are an intricate part in making patients' life's better. OR Nurses are often forgotten and don't receive a lot of accolades since most patients don't remember the experience. They don't know how intently OR nurses care for and keep patients safe. This was a tribute to him and his whole team.
