When I found out that I had to have surgery, I was truly terrified. I wasn’t sure if I was going to commit, but eventually, the pain was great enough, and I had to do it. All turned out well and the surgery was successful. As I lay here in my new temporary home, I was truly blessed to have nurse Felicia taking care of my needs. I cannot say enough good things about this hospital’s awesome staff, but Felicia stood out amongst them all and made my short stay as comfortable as a person can. She is excellent in how she cares for you and makes you feel like you are the most important person who deserves her time. I had a very difficult roommate, and he was very rude to every staff member that dealt with him. I was amazed at how well she handled some situations with him, especially at 430am. JFK is fortunate to have a staff member like Felicia. Whoever is doing the hiring for this hospital, I say to you “Great Job” When looking back at my stay here I will not forget her.
