Felicia was my nurse for a number of days (3-4) and was extremely compassionate. When I had a string of difficult phone calls, she talked me through them and affirmed my feelings. I appreciated so much her taking a few minutes to calm me down, and to make sure I felt safe and comfortable after the fact. She was always available to me when needed, and wanted, and was very informative which helped me understand this whole experience. I am extremely glad she was assigned as my nurse.

She never seemed too rushed to help me. She made sure to coordinate with the doctors and promptly get answers. She was patient empathetic and kind. She never seemed annoyed by my needing help with things.

Felicia is an excellent nurse. She treated me with grace and understanding. Like a person, not just a patient. This was my 2nd stay in Pine Rest and seeing her for my intake exam helped so much on one of my worst days ever. Felicia never was short, lost her cool, or impatient with me or any other patient. She consistently demonstrated not just professionalism, but an obvious empathy and understanding of another person's pain. I hope anyone as unfortunate to go through the pain I experienced (which brought me to Pine Rest) would be so fortunate to receive care from her. And during our last conversation, her parting words were, “It was a pleasure to work with you.” Wow. She is a blessing to this unit.
