I am visiting my brother from Raleigh, NC. Fern Carroll was teaching my brother all about his heart condition: eating, exercise, etc. She not only explained things in very comprehensive terms, but entertained our questions as well. By the time she was done, she impacted me to such a degree that I am ready to completely change my life and eat properly and exercise in order to prolong my life and avoid the serious circumstance my brother now finds himself. Fern had truly impacted my life in a way no one has. When you have the ability to do that- well, I am very grateful. An award is very nice, however she saved my life!!
