Tony Johnson provided incredible post-op care to my mom after her knee surgery. Tony’s compassion and professionalism were evident in everything he did, from managing her pain to ensuring she felt comfortable and cared for during her recovery. What made Tony’s care even more special was watching him with a nursing student. Tony set an amazing example, showing how extraordinary compassionate care can make a real difference.

His professionalism and empathy will live on through the next generation of nurses who work with him. Tony’s dedication, attention to detail, and compassion truly made a challenging time easier for my mom and our family. He took his time thoroughly explaining post-care instructions and never made us feel rushed, making it seem like my mom was his top priority and the only patient he had all day. He embodies everything this award stands for, and we were grateful for him!
