Festus serves as a role model for compassionate and exemplary practice for our students and is an inspirational influence for all of us. Festus has faced circumstances beyond his control that delayed his graduation. However, he stayed focused, on the course with joy, excitement, and commitment to his education. He is now in the final semester of the program, excelling in his courses, and is on track to graduate with honors. Festus is resilient, intelligent, caring, and compassionate. He provides care to clients and families with the same drive and passion that he demonstrates in the classroom. His peers respect him and admire the young man before him; as do I, as Festus is the epitome of "excellence with caring".
