Fidel Vecino, RN

Whenever I see Fidel Vecino in the hallway, I associate him with "angel" or "lifesaver." Fidel uses his IV skills to assist with hard-stick patients in a hospital setting. Fidel brings hope and joy to patients who go through frustration or desperation because of poor vein access that hinders their wellness from having no IV antibiotics or hydration. Nurses see Fidel as a life savior for assisting with inserting IVs in those who once thought it impossible to access IV access. We have no one else to turn to sometimes, and we are so desperate for help, but Fidel always comes to us with a smile.
