On Friday the 13th anything and everything can happen! As a new nurse, you can be afraid of an older nurse eating her young, the lack of support from your colleagues, the unknown challenges in your career path. With this said, we can never be fully prepared for a patient coding or for your first RRT in an OB unit. To me, it was the scariest, most surreal event in my life and the only reason why I kept it together was because of you and our team of nurses. Doctors are great, but when they are not around, it is great to count on your fellow nurses to work together and lend you a helping hand, despite having their own busy assignment. Nursing is our calling, we do it because we care and love our patients. It's heartwarming to receive love, support, and guidance from you when you need it most.
