All the staff on 9LM have been great! But there was 1 special nurse that went above and beyond any job description - Filitsa Tsouflias! Not only is she the best nurse I have ever met, she is an absolute wonderful and compassionate person. She took her time during my admit and was generally concerned about my mental health. She truly listened and offered her advice and opinion when asked. She hugged me and let me literally cry on her shoulder. She made me feel like I was her only patient, never once did she try to cut me off or hurry me.
She is such a natural at compassion. After 10 minutes of meeting her, I felt like she was my best friend. I opened up to her more than I ever have with anyone! Why? Because of her extraordinary caring and passion for her career and her patients.
I could never thank her enough for her clinical expertise, exemplary care and compassion.
