When a patient was admitted to the hospital during this stay, he did not want any interventions to save his life. With his family at his bedside and in his room, he expressed that he was ready to be done.

Fitim was able to give him a final weekend just the way he wanted it. The patient was a jokester and always up for a good, fun argument, and Fitim provided that for him. He joked with him every time he came into the room, bringing light and laughter during a very difficult time.

Throughout the stay, there were many family members coming and going. Fitim always greeted everyone with a smile and a caring heart. He went above and beyond to make the patient comfortable and to ensure that the family was also cared for.

Fitim’s compassion, humor, and kindness made a lasting difference for both the patient and his loved ones.
