I have been blessed with the privilege of working with and alongside Liza and witnessed her caring nature towards her patients and their families as well as peers, management, physicians and other members of the multidisciplinary team.



Liza is always approachable, willing to share her knowledge and support others, even when her role is not as charge nurse or resource person. Liza regularly acts as in charge and as a resource nurse for my ward. I am always feeling a sense of reassurance when I see she is on shift with me. She has the ability to anticipate the needs of her patients and the staff she works alongside.



She is an amazing role model who shows compassion and empathy as she cares for her patients. She maintains her professional manner whilst being a patient and family advocate as she interacts in a multidisciplinary team setting.



In addition Liza displays a positive outlook to her work even when the situation or the ward environment is chaotic Liza's calming presence assists the ward to cope even in a particularly stressful situation.
