I am writing this note in regard to the wonderful care my mother received while on 4 West. Florence had my mother Wednesday -Friday, she was wonderful!!! She was warm and compassionate and professional! She was very attentive to my mother's needs who was struggling with heart failure and to our family's needs, both physically and emotionally. I felt like she truly cared and that this was not just another patient or another day at work!
I felt a bond with Florence right from the start which made working together for the benefit of my mother easy. She also has a great sense of humor which is needed at difficult times such as this. She is like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day!
I am also an RN. We all know the scrutiny of one nurse to another is very high. I have no complaints about this nurse or any of the care my mother received on 4 West.
It was a long 4 days and I was there most of the time. My mother passed away, but we were thankful to get her to her own room and be surrounded by her children before she passed. Thank you again to Florence and her co-workers for their commitment to their patients and their profession
