-Romey is one of the nurses on our unit that truly is a role model He's always around when you need him. He'll travel across the unit to start an IV for you. He's the best team player. He'll come up to you and ask "Do you need some help?" Patients always ask "Is Romey here?" He's kind, soft-spoken, direct and knowledgeable. He cares!
-I have worked with Romey for many years and have always admired his nursing skills, empathy with his patients and their families, team spirit and willingness to always help start that "impossible" IV. I don't believe I've ever encountered a staff member who doesn't enjoy working with Romey.
-Always goes above and beyond the call of duty. He is willing to help his coworkers and
visitors with anything, anytime.
-Romey is very helpful and a great role model!
-Romey is an excellent teacher. He frequently acts as a preceptor not only for graduate nurses, but for his coworkers as well. He is a super charge nurse and handles the floor's concerns well. He is a wonderful role model, always willing to demonstrate clinical techniques, and start IV's. Above all, Romey's work is the picture perfect example of portraying "patient's are the center of all we do".
-He consistently works as a team player, even assisting in other hallways(departments). He maintains a soft voice in very intense situations, and has a kind compassionate demeanor with patients and their families. He has a wealth of knowledge and we always seek him out if we are unable to solve a problem. He is a terrific preceptor and great as a charge nurse.
-Whether Romey is a floor nurse or charge nurse, you would hardly know because he is always helping others whenever asked. An example-On a recent Sunday, Romey was in charge and we had 4 rapid response teams here (code teams), and 3 other separate situations going on, and Romey handled ALL with his usual calm demeanor that helped to settle all.
