Fran is dedicated to working towards a culture of equity and inclusion and has participated in continuing education and service in this area and made recommendations for how to improve cultural inclusivity throughout the curriculum.
Fran is a first year faculty member at Arapahoe Community College (ACC), but she is not new to nursing education. She is a leader and champion for student success and embodies the mission, vision, and goals of our organization. Fran collaborates with other departments and has championed holistic admissions and partnering with student services. Fran is dedicated to working towards a culture of equity and inclusion and has participated in continuing education and service in this area and made recommendations for how to improve cultural inclusivity throughout the curriculum. Fran has made significant strides in a very short time at ACC, including updating and being a champion for the Nursing Program student bulletin board. Fran is an asset to not only the nursing department but the college as a whole.

Her nominators said: "I just wanted to nominate Fran Robertson! She really cares about each of us as students and she does her best to give us a quality education! She still is excited about her job and makes the material fun even when we are not always as so excited."

Frances brings a wealth of experience to ACC Nursing, and she is very knowledgeable in the field of nursing and demonstrates these skills in her teaching methods. In addition, Frances is a caring, compassionate Instructor who genuinely is concerned about each one of the Nursing Departments students’ overall successes for achievement."
