I would like to thank RN Diaz-Molina who was working in MIU at the time my youngest sister tried committing suicide. Naturally, this took a toll on my whole family. Being across the country I couldn't afford to go see her. My co-workers showed their sympathies of course, but RN Diaz-Molina went above and beyond. She recognized that I was talking less and smiling less. Eventually, I began showing signs of depression. Almost immediately she pulled me aside and voiced concerns. She was the first and only one who recognized my abnormal behavior and actually acted upon it. I talked about my little sister and she reassured me in a way that helped me seek the treatment I needed. She supported me while I was in therapy. If it wasn't for her quick recognition and fast actions, I could have eventually harmed myself. I am well now and looking forward to going to 2nd MAR Div! Horray! What RN Diaz-Molina did for me was hard, but I am truly thankful for her. I can honestly say she saved me.
