"I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the care and compassion shown to my mother and me during my mother's final days," began a letter from a grateful family member describing the care provided by Frances Santillan, RN, J5.
Noting that the nurses had become quite fond of her mother over the course of several hospitalizations, the patient's daughter said that the Beverly Hospital team became a family for her. "You held me when I cried, listened while I ranted, and made me feel cared for and less alone through this process," she said of Santillan. "You impacted my life, and I will be forever grateful."
