I would like to thank Francis for his exceptional level of care, patience, compassion, encouragement, and support along with caring for me as his patient. I was anxious to be here alone over a weekend after a surgery that was more extensive than I originally expected. I appreciate all that he did to take care of my nursing medical needs along with the kindness and understanding of my concerns about being alone. His checking to make sure I was okay along with his encouragement to do my breathing and smile and excitement for the first steps I took to exercise are priceless to me in my recovery. I ended up staying two days longer than originally expected, so on a walk today I saw him again on the floor and he was again, so kind, encouraging, and said he was so proud of how good I was doing. It comes down to keeping the human touch in the care we give others instead of the clinical monotony of everyday routine acts. Francis truly cared and it showed! I will be forever truly grateful!
