Francisco Campos was nominated by a colleague who witnessed his excellent and compassionate care for a chemotherapy patient and her family.
The family mentioned that he was so compassionate and always there when they needed some help. Francisco even went out of his way to offer a bed to the husband so he could be comfortable while he stayed with his wife overnight. They felt they were so special and fortunate being at Saint Agnes. Francisco also took the time to explain everything to the family in detail, and they weren't the only ones to take notice. Dr. H, the attending physician, acknowledged the great care Francisco was providing.
With the non-stop appreciation of the family, he deserves the DAISY Award. In spite of the busy shift, he still managed to give extra care to the patient and the family.
