Here is what the staff in the Emergency Department (ED) had to say about Frank's dedication to nursing, and to our patients and families:

Frank assisted one of our patient's who is well known to ED staff as this particular patient checks in frequently to our ED whether on a weekly or daily basis, often with vague complaints. During a more recent encounter, this patient presented in an intoxicated state with aggressive behavior and was verbally "assaulting" the staff. Frank was not only able meet this patient's immediate need for a change of clothes and proper hygiene but was also able to advocate for this patient who was to be discharged. Frank did not hesitate to discuss his concerns with the medical staff and attending. Upon further testing and treatment, the patient was calmed and had cause to be admitted.

Frank went above and beyond his nursing duty of "following doctor's orders" and was a true patient advocate through excellent patient care, competency, and diligence.
