Frank MacDonald, BSN/CCRN

Over the last year of working alongside Frank, I've picked up on so many of the qualities that he shows as a nurse that make him stand out. As an occupational therapist, I work closely with nursing staff to ensure patients progress toward their therapy goals while managing medical status. Frank is exceptionally courteous when balancing addressing medical needs during sessions without unnecessarily interrupting treatment sessions. I have observed him interacting with patients on numerous occasions, providing clear explanations of what he is doing to/with the patient and why. He has open communication with patients and staff that promotes an efficient, effective and safe environment. He goes so far as to genuinely ask how people's days are going and remembers the small details about others. He truly cares for everyone around him at work & his inviting demeanor promotes a healthy culture within the workplace. I am always so appreciative when I have Frank on the floor as someone I can go to for help, to learn from & to help resolve any issue that arises.
