We had a patient on 3 South who had a miscarriage at 15 weeks. She was upset and she wanted to see her baby. The family had contacted the funeral home and the baby was to be cremated. The patient was hurting about her loss and wanted closure. Frankie went above and beyond to help me. We took the patient to the morgue, although she couldn’t look at the baby, she held it and cried and prayed. Frankie gave me a hat, a blanket for the patient. The patient had her closure and was so thankful to us for helping her. Frankie was so instrumental in this situation and helped me out without hesitation. She is a DAISY. Frankie’s compassion aided in my ability to help this patient.
