Frantz Payen, BSN, RN

Frantz has always been an amazing RN. The staff on the floor know they can always rely on him for assistance, and he is always one of the first nurses to respond to an emergency on the floor. Last night is a prime example of this. During shift change, the guest of a patient came out into the hallway in distress as they were choking. Frantz did not hesitate, he jumped into action and performed abdominal thrusts successfully helping the guest clear their airway preventing them from being a Code Blue on the floor. The family was grateful, and the guest, after being discharged from the ED, came back personally to thank Frantz for his heroic actions. Frantz truly is passionate about the work we do and always looks for ways to go above and embodied tonight s superhuman strength to save a life.
