Freddie Treadwell LPN was nominated by a surgery patient, who wrote: "I never thought there was such a thing as a nurse so patient and welcoming to help me through this time. I'm very grateful to have had this lovely experience with him. He made me feel like I was home. He taught and clarified certain things and now I can go home knowing I was very well taken care of. He made me believe I was capable of so much when I felt weak. He even made me think of a joke to tell him and even realized I was smiling again. I'm very thankful to have had a caring, understanding and patient nurse by my side. And I enjoyed his singing! I just wish the other patients a lovely experience like I had. Mount Sinai Hospital is lucky to have someone like him. Thank you."
