Freida continues to go out of her way for all her patients, personally calling special services to make sure patient issues are explained. She helps patients with transportation as needed and takes time to teach families about health issues. A patient needed home nursing, and Freida wrote letters, involved social work and the attending physician, and would not quit until the child received the services she needed. She has demonstrated excellence in defining the role of nurse practitioner. Freida demonstrated excellent patient advocacy.
