Frenita is truly a team player and used her expertise in management of ill newborns to help resuscitate a 3-day old neonate who was in shock and septic when the child presented to the Phoenix Indian Medical Center Emergency Room. When the ER staff requested help in managing this ill three-day old baby, Frenita left the nursery and quickly established an IV line, administered a fluid bolus and antibiotics. This was a cross-departmental cooperation that saved this newborn's life.
