You probably don’t remember me, but in 2022, I was seen by you in the walk-in clinic. My primary Doctor said I was having anxiety attacks, so I came in for some kind of medication. You talked to me and said my symptoms don’t sound like anxiety. You recommended me to the ED for a workup and asked that I follow up with you afterward (which I did not do, sorry!). I wanted you to know I was having a gallbladder issue that required surgery.
A gallstone was blocking my common bile duct, and that was what was causing my pain. Thank you for seeing a woman with reports of difficulty breathing and not assuming I was having an anxiety attack. I would not have gone to the ED if you didn’t suggest it. I just wanted to let you know I appreciate you taking the time to hear me and not make assumptions. I am doing good now. No complications from surgery and no anxiety. Thank you again; I think of all your kindness and help often
